Meet Miss Silvia

Hello! I’m Miss Silvia, a bilingual educator and private tutor who loves helping students build confidence and enjoy learning.

I provide individualized Math tutoring for preschool and elementary-age students, along with Spanish lessons for children, teenagers, and adults. Because every student learns differently, I adapt each lesson to the student’s age, personality, learning style, and academic needs.

My experience in early childhood education includes working with toddlers and preschoolers, leading circle time, teaching early learning concepts, and creating safe, engaging classroom environments.

I also have a background in theater, opera, dance, and commercial productions. This allows me to bring music, movement, storytelling, games, and creativity into my lessons, making new concepts easier to understand and remember.

Before becoming an educator, I worked in banking, customer service, and office administration in both the United States and Lima, Peru. These experiences strengthened my communication, organization, and ability to connect with people from many backgrounds.

I am a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English, and have completed 45 hours of Early Childhood Childcare Training through the Florida Department of Children and Families.

Above all, I am patient, dependable, encouraging, and committed to helping every student experience the excitement of finally making learning “click.”
